Scottish Short Croquet Championship 2016

Local knowledge and reserves of added horsepower, when needed, in overcoming Kinross’s very slow but ‘interesting’ lawns assisted in Alistair Malcolm’s winning of the 2016 Short Croquet Championship.
Play commenced at 10am under a cloudy sky that soon brightened to give a great day’s weather. We broke for The Green Hotel’s fish and chips lunch at 1.30pm and resumed play an hour later. Play concluded around 6pm with the shield and a bottle of wine being presented to the winner.
An excellent day’s croquet, enjoyed by all.
