Scottish Masters 2021

1-2 May 2021, Meadows

Lorna DewarLorna Dewar won the 2021 Scottish Masters beating James Hopgood in the final. Lorna completed her first tournament triple on the Saturday and went on to beat an in-form Alastair Burn-Murdoch in the semis, before rounding off an excellent weekend for her by taking the trophy from multiple Masters winner James.  The crowd were slowly freezing on a sunny but cold weekend in early May but were kept entertained by Alastair Burn-Murdoch’s peeling efforts on lawn 3 in the Z: Alan Wilson had hit the sextuple leave but ABM managed 4 peels of the quin before breaking down at rover.

Alan Wilson was kept busy all weekend in his role as ROT with endless hampered shots and crucial wiring judgements and was much appreciated by both the players and the manager.
